Drop PDFs, order the pages, download one file. Nothing is uploaded. Merge does not shrink the file — compress after, if a portal has a size cap.
A campus form wants the CV, then the degree, then the caste certificate. A buyer wants the GST invoice and then the annexure. An ITR working folder is three PDFs you already have. Merge puts them in that order in this tab. These are examples of sequence, not official size caps.
Merge does not make the file smaller. If the desk caps the upload, merge first so you have one file, then compress that file to 2 MB, 200 KB, or whatever the form printed. The other order — compress each scan, then merge — is better when each document has its own cap, as on NSP.
After the page and its libraries have loaded, you can merge with the network disconnected. The combined PDF still downloads. That is the check. A site that only finishes while an upload spinner runs is not doing the job in the tab. Optional analytics and a tip, if you pay one, use the network later. The PDFs do not.
No. Pages are copied together in this browser tab. You can confirm it by merging after the page has loaded with the network off.
No. Merge adds the files. Compress the result if a portal has a size cap.
Yes. PNG, JPG, WebP, and GIF can be dropped in as extra pages alongside PDFs.
